I agree, though for different reasons. Ultimately, a lot of the leverage in open source comes from the ability to mix and match pieces of things to achieve new software. If the license terms don't mesh, it becomes impossible to mix the components. This is why, in the end, the EROS system switched to GPL. Now that it is under GPL we are gaining traction. Before, we simply weren't.
