No higher priority for me than redoing the build system in terms of Ant is to you--in other words, it probably won't happen. It looks like Ant already has to change to work properly on the Mac to begin with, so I'll likely make those changes and submit them back to the Ant team, hoping that I don't have to bifurcate both Ant AND E, just to be able to build E at home! I really don't have the time and energy to maintain parallel environments for Ant, E, and other tools I want to be able to use at home.
As I've already said, though, I totally understand "E source to E binary for MacOS" not being a priority for the project.
