Josh:
For future reference, this is properly a question for eros-port, not eros-arch.
The recommended disk size was chosen in anticipation of further work on EROS. Since resizing partitions without losing content is a real pain in the neck, it seemed better to recommend something that would be excessive now in preference to resizing partitions later.
As to where the programs are, this is an operating system in *very* early stages -- while I don't want to discourage your enthusiasm, the serious answer at the moment is "there aren't any yet, go build some!"

Subject: EROS Installation
I just downloaded all of the eros files. It came to 3.04 megs. I was wondering, the web page mentioned that for a decent system you need 100-250 megs for the OS. Where are all of the progs? I'm interested in testing out and programming with/for EROS, but I'm not sure what to do now to get it running. Any tips are appreciated.
Sincerely,
Joshua Shriver
BTW what fdisk out there allows you to specify partition type? for using 0x95 or what the web page says.
